Open source
An open-source Node.js CLI that summarises a crypto portfolio from large CSV exports — roughly 30% faster to query than the manual path it replaced.
What we build it with
Six things rather than sixty. Everything below has been run in production, and where a claim is backed by shipped work, the project is named.
Server runtime
The default choice here. Event-driven, one language across the stack, and fast to put in front of real traffic.

Interface layer
Component UI where state is genuinely hard. Rendered on the server when the page should be fast, on the client when it should be interactive.

Systems & automation
Where the work is scoring, scheduling, scraping or moving data between systems that were never meant to talk.
Markabte ran on Python/Django — including the car scoring feature, its schema and its algorithms.
Storage & cache
Schema design first. Most latency problems are query problems, and most query problems started as modelling problems.
Caching and prefetching cut form submission at Markabte from 1–2 seconds to under 500ms.
Ship & keep it up
Deploys that are boring on purpose: reproducible, reversible, and documented well enough that you can run them without me.

Merchant platforms
Shopify and WordPress treated as application platforms rather than page builders — custom themes, custom apps, real code.
This site is a hand-built WordPress theme: no page builder, no plugins, and zero third-party requests. The counter in the hero measures it.
